Improving the environment, improving drivers' safety and more generally Sustainable Mobility and Green transport, these are the missions of Resnova, Brescia-based company part of V. Orlandi SpA group, since 1859 working with leading operators and technology partners to develop innovative solutions in the automotive industry.

In 1999 the young engineer Claudio Mascialino founded Resnova with the aim of catalysing the group's ideas and products that could lead to substantial innovations in the automotive sector, with particular attention to safety and pollution reduction.

The company through research, in fact, sets up and develops innovative products relying on the support of main European Universities and Corporations.

Thanks to a wide number of distributors on the European territory for example, Resnova distribute AdBlue by BASF  the reducing agent necessary for new, more environmentally friendly diesel engines, which lowers emissions of nitrogen oxides from exhaust gases.

AdBlue is necessary for all heavy duty trucks starting from Euro 4 regulation on, AdBlue consists of a reagent, urea and water, that heated in the exhaust system converts urea into ammonia that is the active substance and the main component of the process that takes place inside the SCR catalytic converter.

During the SCR catalytic reaction, nitrogen oxides are converted into inert nitrogen gas and water vapour, AdBlue it is not only an environment friendly but creates also substantial savings in fuel consumption.

But Resnova doesn’t stop here and moves continuously forward, with attention to eco-sustainability, design of products and solutions that can ensure future generations at least the same opportunities we have been offered but with greater attention to the environment.

Resnova is active in the development of charging stations for electric cars, liquid methane storage systems and dispensers, small electric vehicles, and is present also in the renewable energy sector with the production of small wind turbines, small biodiesel plants.

Resnova customers are large groups such as Iveco, Volvo, Scania, CNH, Same, ENI, to name a few, as well as small ones, each one help the company to grow and Resnova helps them to become more sustainable.

The customer need is Resnova’s commitment to innovation; for example, Resnova is working now with the multinational company Thor for marketing of diesel bacteria killer.
