C-Store Forum Asia

Building on the combined success of the Asia PetroForum and the UK C-Store Forum, OpenRoom Events is taking its c-store concept to Asia. November 2010 will see the launch of C-Store Forum Asia which brings neighbourhood-style supermarkets and petrol station shops across Asia Pacific alongside global suppliers of retail services and equipment for a 2 day summit

02-11-2010 - 03-11-2010

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (Saujana Club Hotel)

A dedicated forum for convenience retail in Asia

The Asian convenience retail market has witnessed unprecedented growth, as consumers adopt a more ‘western’ style of living.  The C-Store Forum will use the sector’s established brands, pioneers such as FamilyMart, 7 Eleven, Petronas (Mesra), PTT (Jiffy),  Lawsons ,  Circle K, Total Asia Pacific, Shell,  Bharti Retail  to share their experiences with the region’s emerging brands.

C-Store Forum is supported by Planet Retail, the definitive source for global retail intelligence.  The opening presentation will be delivered by Paul Martin, Planet Retail’s Research Director.

As with all OpenRoom’s forums, this 2 day event promises numerous opportunities to network, gather information and share ideas.  With its unique one-to-one meetings program (over 900 meetings are scheduled)  at the heart of the event, C-Store Forum Asia enables retailers and suppliers alike to generate new business contacts and explore solutions in the market.

Markus Ehrich, International Sales Director, Bäro Lighting GmbH, says of the last OpenRoom forum:
“Your speed-dating event is unique and a very, very effective format. I got face-to-face time with top decision makers, that hadn’t answered my calls or e-mails in 2 years… If I look at the cost per contact ratio, it is half the cost of our main shopfitting fair.”
