APEA is planning on running the one day Safe Installation and Use of LPG training on 14th September at Stansted Airport in the UK.

Objective

To supplement the general level of awareness of enforcers, designers, installers and operators regarding their responsibilities for LPG liquid off take installations to meet suitable safety standards.

Description

Although primarily to cover small Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG/Autogas) installations on UK forecourts. Included is information on: Legislation, Design, Installation, Operation, Emergencies. Maintenance, Inspection. 

The course includes some information on:

Storage of small numbers of LPG cylinders, Use of gas basic detectors, Asphyxiation.

If required then, subject to prior request, additional items can be included or bespoke course can be offered on LPG related topics. 

References are made to the UKLPG Codes of Practice and other documents including the latest edition of the “Blue Book”.

Fees
