Knittel

The German petrol retailer Knittel was founded in 1961 and operates today about 80 petrol stations - 60 of them under the AVIA brand as well as 20 under the Shell brand. The own brand Fulmin is used for petrol stations in the low-price market segment.

Besides of the petrol station business Knittel also operates in the classic mineral oil distribution. The range of products includes heating oil, motor fuels, as well as lubricants.

The company operates in Southern Germany, in the federal states of Hesse, Thuringia, Northern Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg and is headquartered in Fulda, Germany.
