GGF select ‘The Fuelcard People’ as strategic partner

The Glass and Glazing Federation (GGF) has selected ‘The Fuelcard People’ as its strategic fuel cards partner. The agreement will offer its member companies help in reducing and controlling vehicle running costs

Nigel Rees, GGF chief executive, said: “Cutting fuel costs and administrative workloads is just the start of the benefits available. A fuel card should offer more than just discount fuel and The Fuelcard People offers a perfect combination of savings, service and security.”

GGF members can benefit from fixed weekly pricing for diesel, petrol or both, This is typically 2p to 3p per litre below national average pump prices, over 10p per litre less than motorway prices, and applies nationwide. A single weekly invoice allows up to two weeks of free credit before direct debit payment.

Steve Gale, The Fuelcard People’s associates account manager, said: “GGF members no longer need to hunt around for the best fuel deal. Discount pricing is now on their doorsteps and, depending upon which fuel card they choose, they can refuel at up to 3,200 filling stations nationwide. Our wide range includes fuel cards which are valid at BP, Esso, Shell, Texaco, Total, Q8, Jet, Gulf, Spot, Murco, Morrisons, Somerfield and Moto filling stations, as well as the on the Keyfuels Diesel Direct network.”

Members will also appreciate The Fuelcard People’s attitude to customer service. “Members are not pushed towards any particular fuel card,” said Nigel Rees, “but receive impartial advice. Fuel cards are not all the same, so each member will be helped in selecting the most appropriate card for their individual needs. In addition, a member will always talk to the same dedicated account manager, who knows their business, rather than queuing to explain who they are to an anonymous call centre operator. That sort of difference matters.”
