Caltex Australia names former Shell executive for new position; change effective in April

Caltex Australia said in mid-February it has named Adam Ritchie as its new General Manager – Supply which is a new position that was created to better ensure “competitive and reliable” product supply for Caltex.

“This is of particular importance as we continue to transform our supply chain,” the company said in a statement to announce the change.

Ritchie is currently Head of Strategy for Shell's Global Trading and Supply Businesses, and previously was the Chief Economist for Shell Trading and the Head of Oil Markets Analysis for Shell.

He has worked in his home country of Australia as well as in Europe and North and Central America.

Caltex is a brand name of Chevron.
