Wayne Fueling Systems, 7-Eleven to offer fuel for $1.49/gallon

Wayne Fueling System, a global supplier of fuel dispensing, payment, automation, and control technologies for retail and commercial fuel stations, has teamed with a 7-Eleven store to offer gasoline for $1.49/gallon but only to commemorate an event, with restrictions applying.

The event that will be highlighted is the recent installation of Wayne OvationTM2 Fuel Dispensers.

“The 7-Eleven food store and gas station is located less than 2 miles from Wayne’s corporate headquarters and is considered the company’s flagship fueling site,” the company said.

Wayne employs over 500 people in Austin, where it has its head office and about 1,400 globally. The company has been doing business for nearly 125 years.

Wayne said it will be sponsoring a discount of the 87 octane fuel for the first 100 guests at the 7-Eleven site on La Frontera, from 10 am – noon on April 2, 2015. The reduced cost will be $1.49 per gallon for a maximum 30 gallons.
