Lukoil makes management changes to reflect strategic importance of high viscosity oil

Lukoil annunced March 17 that Alexander Leyfrid, the former head of Lukoil-Perm, will become general director of Lukoil-Komi and also vicepresident of Lukoil while Pyotr Oboronkov, former head of Lukoil-Komi, will work in the headquarters as part of management changes.

“The staff changes were made in accordance with the Lukoil policy as regards human resources management. The new appointments reflect the strategic importance the company attaches to the development of the Timan-Pechora province, including the development of Yaregskoye field of high-viscosity oil,” the company said.
