OMV Petrom announces changes in executive board, renames business segments

OMV Petrom, which calls itself the largest oil and gas producer in southeastern Europe, announced through a statement the appointment of Lacramioara Diaconu-Pintea as member of the OMV Petrom Executive Board responsible for Downstream Gas starting April 17.

The appointment was decided in a supervisory meeting in late March where the board also decided to change the names of OMV Petrom’s business segments.

As part of the changes, Refining and Marketing became Downstream Oil while Gas and Power became Downstream Gas.

OMV Petrom is the largest integrated oil and gas group in south-eastern Europe, according to the company.

Petrom is present on the oil products retail markets in Romania and neighboring countries through approximately 780 filling stations.
