Best Ghana Shell retailers out of 142 fuel station network get recognition

Vivo Energy Ghana, the company that distributes and markets Shell branded fuels and lubricants, has rewarded its best retailers out of its 142 fuel station network at a special ceremony held in Koforidua in the country’s eastern region, the company said in a news release distributed on May 20.

The criteria for the price was both the 2014 performance as well as the business focus for 2015.

Agbeshie Desewu, retailer for the Takoradi Anaji service station, was crowned the retailer of the year 2014 while the Gold Retailer Awards went to Theophius Aboagye and Peter Bota of Takoradi Highway and Tarkwa service stations respectively.

The Managing Director of Vivo Energy Ghana, Mr. Ebenezer Faulkner, commended the retailers for their commitment.

“We will continue to work with our retailers to help them benefit from the strength and reputation of the Shell brand by using the full range of traditional, digital and social media to fully optimise marketing opportunities for Shell’s product and services,” said Ebenezer Faulkner, managing director of Vivo Energy Ghana.
