This initiative, in partnership with local governments, links the municipalities of Dolbeau-Mistassini, Saint-Félicien, Saint-Prime, Roberval, and Alma to the largest EV charging network in Quebec, the Electric Circuit.

The Electric Circuit, powered by Hydro-Québec, consists of around 475 public charging stations, including 17 fast-charge stations, spread across 16 Quebec regions.

Rio Tinto, meanwhile, donated $35,000 for the purchase of EV stations made of aluminium.

The project has been lauded by mayors in the area for promoting the use of clean energy and boosting ecotourism around the lake.

The charging stations are available at the following locations: City hall – 1100, boulevard Wallberg, Dolbeau-Mistassini; City hall – 1209, boulevard du Sacré-Cœur, Saint-Félicien; City hall 599, rue Principale, Saint-Prime; City hall – 851, boulevard St-Joseph, Roberval; and Municipal library – 500, rue Collard Ouest, Alma.

These locations, which can also be found on the Electric Circuit web site theelectriccircuit.com and its mobile application, are accessible to the network’s more than 5,000 members.
