Scheidt & Bachmann and ExxonMobil agree new partnership

ExxonMobil has chosen German global technology provider Scheidt & Bachmann to replace all their point of sale (POS) systems for Esso's fuel retailing network in Germany.

In the coming years, Scheidt & Bachmann will provide Esso with a tailor-made POS software program, as well as the installation of the petrol station management system TMS 30. The latest system includes touch solution technology and the Scheidt & Bachmann Sitemaster, which connects the sites with the head office system NMS.

According to the German system provider, a leader in the country´s market, this is one of Europe´s biggest tenders within the last few years.

“Based on more than 30 years market presence and its market-leading position in Germany, Scheidt & Bachmann is able to revert to a broad experience in all aspects of the petrol business. The company has always been a leading force in the introduction of innovative solutions to the market,” said Scheidt & Bachmann in a company statement.

Germany is one of Esso´s biggest European markets with a network of 1,050 gas stations. The total number of Esso branded service stations in Europe accounts for around 6,100 sites.
