USA: Global Partners to sell 86 c-stores
Global Partners LP plans to sell 125 “non-stategic” convenience stores within the next year, reports CSP Daily News.
The operation would include the offload of 86 convenience stores with fuel dispensers in the Northeast and mid-Atlantic. These operate under different fuel brands and 51 of them are fee-owned.
“As we focus on further optimizing the cash flow from our retail portfolio of 844 owned or lease sites, we have identified approximately 125 nonstrategic sites for sale,” said Global Partners president and CEO Eric Slifka last February.
Of the 86 sites, 28 are located in Connecticut, 22 in Massachusetts, 12 in New York, eight each in Maine and New Hampshire, five are in Rhode Island and three are in Maryland.
