Nobel’s second station has three dispensing units capable of servicing six vehicles at a time, and located on 154, Mangaliei Boulevard, which is close to the largest Romanian port and major Romanian and Bulgarian seaside tourist destinations, according to a company release.

Nobel Oil stations have also pioneered in Romania the use of Outside Payment Terminals (OTP), which facilitate card and cash payments. Photovoltaic panels were installed on the station roof to cover its energy needs.

“The launch of the second petrol station reflects the successful development of Nobel Oil in the downstream segment of the energy industry. We are looking forward to further growth in the Romanian market by setting up three more units this year. Demand in the market is high and we anticipate positive results,” said Gustaf Nobel, member of the Board of Directors of Nobel Oil Services Ltd.

British Ambassador to Romania Paul Brummel was likewise present in the inauguration to welcome “another sign of a continued British investment into Romania.”
