UAE retailers deny fuel delivery service rumours

News reports circulating on social media and some news websites on fuel delivery service outside gas stations are false, according to a joint statement issued by Abu Dhabi National Oil Distribution Company (ADNOC Distribution), Emirates General Petroleum Corporation (Emarat), and Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC).

The three firms denied that they are launching or providing fuel outside of service stations to homes or work sites.

“Such practices require a comprehensive study into the safety implications for society and the environment, as well as ensuring strict standards and measures are adhered to when fuel is transported and filled from outside the dedicated service stations,” added the statement.

The public is also encouraged to be more accurate and verify news from authorities before publishing and sharing information.
