The company’s sales from non-fuel products and service segment in 2015 represented 15% of the total retail sales and were reported to be higher than Cora, a French retailer which operates 11 hypermarkets in Romania.

OMV Petrom is thus considered as one of the biggest operators of small supermarkets in the country with a network of more than 550 gas stations that sell food on-the-go, books, and other merchandise.

The subsidiary of Austrian oil giant OMV is also the largest oil and gas group in Southeastern Europe.
