Malaysia: Petron to move into Sarawak region
Petron is planning to expand its fuelling network to the Malaysian region of Sarawak by the end of this year.
After a rapid growth across Malaysia´s peninsula and Sabah region that has seen them reach around 560 Petron gas stations, the company now looks to enter the remaining large region of the country, reported the Borneo Post.
“Let´s not put a deadline, but we are planning to move into Sarawak,” said Mohd Nawir Paunari, a company official, at a launching event.
The company is now looking for dealers and other people interested in setting up Petron fuel stations.
Petron´s large gas station network significantly grew four years ago with the rebranding of Esso and Mobil stations.
