Saudi Arabia: Petromin Corp. to build 230 fuel stations
Saudi Arabian fuel retailer Petromin Corporation plans to open 230 gas stations in the country over the next four years, reports the Saudi Gazette.
The company is planning to invest SR2.5 billion ($666 million) for the construction of all the new stations and related facilities, planned to be finished by 2020. By the end of 2016, 20 new sites will be up and running.
Petromin Corportation is the leading lubricants and automotive services company in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
As part of the project, the company opened a new service station last week. The site includes maintenance and tire services, a Primo convenience store, ATMs, two mosques with a capacity for 500 people, and a small hotel.
