Qatar Fuel mobile stations tackle crowding at gas pumps

Qatar Fuel (Woqod) has rolled out mobile stations as a temporary solution to the crowding at fuel stations in Qatar, reports The Peninsula.

The temporary facilities, located in Al Sadd, Rawdat Khail, Al Waki, Al Wakra, and Al Kharara, have brought great relief to motorists, said Hejji Ghanim H A Al Rumaihi, Retail Manager at Woqod.

The saturation of fuel stations was caused by many factors, one of which was the shutdown of non-Woqod fuel stations due primarily to safety and security issues.

Al Rumaihi emphasized that Woqod had nothing to do with the closure of non-compliant stations.

Woqod, he added, has a special department in charge of establishing temporary stations, but the company’s priority is to increase the number of fuel stations.
