RaceTrac surpasses 200 stores in Florida

RaceTrac continues to grow its business as it opened 24 new stores in Florida during 2016.

The total number of RaceTrac stores in the state of Florida is now 207, making up for nearly half of its total number of stores across the country, 435.

RaceTrac plans to continue its expansion by opening 50 more stores in Florida in the next two years.

“By the start of 2017, we will have in excess of 200 stores throughout the state, many of which are strategically positioned along commuting routes and interstates, leaving us ever more confident of our ability to double our store count in Florida in the coming years as we in-fill locations throughout the state and serve the growing population,” said Robby Posener, Vice President of Marketing, Merchandising, Construction and Architecture & Design at RaceTrac.

On top of the store growth, RaceTrac is also remodeling all older stores in Florida to bring them up to the same standard of these new stores with their enhanced offerings. In 2017 it plans to upgrade 70 of its Florida stores.
