Beard rose to fame with his 30-day gas station diet challenge. He documented himself eating only the food available in gas stations for 30 consecutive days to prove that one can eat healthy and even lose weight from c-store food offerings.

“Frank has visited more than 1000 gas stations in 24 states and brings the passion and knowledge that will help further advance GasBuddy’s efforts in working with our retail partners and educating the public as to just how much the industry has evolved,” said Mike Dilorenzo, vice president of marketing at GasBuddy.

As analyst, Beard will monitor industry trends and analyze GasBuddy’s rating and reviews data to produce original content.

“I've used the GasBuddy app for years, so I understand as a consumer what a powerful tool it is when I’m on the road looking for gas, as well as for my next meal,” said Beard.
