Fuel and convenience retailer Yesway enters Kansas and increases footprint in Iowa with latest acquisitions.
Yesway has announced the broadening of its reach in the c-store space with the acquisition of seven additional Midwest-based convenience stores.
In Iowa, Yesway has acquired the Krueger's Convenience Stores location in Grimes, and the Pronto Market location in Kanawha. Five Pic Quik stores in Hutchinson, Kansas, have also been acquired and will be added to its existing portfolio.
“We look forward to further expanding the Yesway brand and to becoming an essential member of the communities we serve,” says Thomas Nicolas Trkla, Yesway's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
The company has a robust acquisition pipeline and plans to acquire, improve and rebrand approximately 500 convenience stores as Yesway convenience stores in selected regions of the United States over the next several years.
