Petronas Dagangan Bhd to add 100 ‘Grab to Go’ café stores at Petronas gas stations across Malaysia.

Last update:

With consumer behaviour shifting under the influence of younger generations, Petronas has decided to bet on modern ‘Grab to Go’ stores that will cater food and services for drivers stopping to refuel. The company is currently embroiled in the process of finding strategic convenience partners to expand their offerings.

Among its current food and beverage partners are McDonald’s, Starbucks, Dunkin’ Donuts, Baskin Robbins, Kaya Kopitiam, Kayu Nasi Kandar, and Asa Damai Cafe, reports The Start Online.

“We want to be able to provide everything, from fuel to shop, run errands, do banking, pay bills, have a coffee or even hang out with family and friends,” said Datuk Mohd Ibrahimnuddin Mohd Yunus, Managing Director and CEO.

He also said the company would also refurbish and renovate some 750 Mesra Stores out of the 1,000 petrol stations nationwide that include these convenience stores.
