Home fuel delivery made possible in India

India now has its first diesel home delivery service launched in the city of Bengalore.

Last update:

MyPetrolpump, a start-up with one year of life, has started delivering fuel to people at home or work in Bengalore. The app chargers fuel at the running price and has fixed delivery costs.

The company currently operates with three delivery trucks with a carrying capacity of 950 litres per day. MyPetrolpump has already delivered 5,000 litres of fuel to consumers in Bengalore.

“The vehicles used for delivery have been specially fabricated by a firm approved by the Petroleum and Explosives Safety Organisation. All necessary permissions have been obtained,” said Ashish Kumar Gupta, the mastermind behind the project, to the TOI.

India´s Oil Ministry has previously already spoken about the possibilities of home fuel delivery but still hasn´t rolled out its own concept.
