UK: Flowtech completes fuel storage firm acquisition

Flowtech Fluidpower, a leading supplier of technical fluid power products in the United Kingdom, has completed the acquisition of Orange County Limited (OCL), a Spennymoor-based distributor of products for the storage and movement of fuels, liquids, and gases.

OCL will continue to operate as an independent company within the Flowtech Group under the acquisition deal. It will be managed by the current executive team, who will report directly to Flowtech's CEO Sean Fennon.

Fennon stated: "OCL is the third acquisition we have made this year and we are delighted to expand our knowledge base, add complementary technical products and skilled engineers to the Group's already robust customer offering."

The acquisition, in addition, establishes relationships with world-leading manufacturers of pipes, valves, gauges and leak detection equipment, including Brugg Pipesystems in Germany and Ebsray Pumps in Australia.
