Three hundred thirteen employees will lose their jobs in October as a result of Kwik Trip’s acquisition of PDQ Food Stores.

The La Crosse, Wisconsin-based convenience store chain, according to a report published on wkow.com, welcomes PDQ staff to work for them and offers to credit their length of service with PDQ to determine vacation benefits as well as 401k plan eligibility.

“It is Kwik Trip’s desire to hire any qualified PDQ coworker, both full-time and part-time. Each store will require more coworkers than are currently employed so it will be necessary to hire new coworkers as well," said Kwik Trip’s Director of Public Relations John McHugh.
