Toyota, according to a company release, is set to develop hydrogen-based vehicles and power generators especially made for convenience stores.

The two companies are looking into introducing a store truck fully powered by fuel cells including its refrigeration unit, a hydrogen generator powered by an automotive fuel cell unit, and a rechargeable battery system which uses rechargeable automobile batteries.

These initiatives are Toyota and Seven-Eleven Japan's contribution towards a low-carbon and hydrogen-based society.
