UK: MRH acquires Mitha Forecourts

Independent service station operator MRH has acquired Mitha Forecourts, a family-owned business which operates two Shell-branded service stations in Hoyland and Birdwell in Barnsley, South Yorkshire, reports insidermedia.com.

The two stations, which currently have no food offering, will be redeveloped into sites that will be more attractive to shoppers.

One of MRH's strategies is to partner with brands and has tie-ups with Co-op, SPAR, Greggs, Subway, and Costa.

MRH operates 480 service stations carrying fuel distribution brands such as Esso, BP, and TORQ.
