AdBlue® products with ATEX approval for passenger cars and light duty vehicles

Blue1 recently launched besides its existing AdBlue® product range for heavy duty vehicles and stationary applications a full AdBlue® product range for passenger cars and light duty vehicles. These AdBlue® bulk systems are suitable for industrial and retail applications. All retail bulk systems for petrol stations can be connected to any weight and measurement approved AdBlue® dispenser and have an EX conformity approval for hazardous areas.

The demand for bulk retail solutions for passenger cars has rapidly increased in the first quarter of 2017 due to the growing number of passenger cars and light-duty vehicles with SCR technology in accordance to meet the Euro 6 emissions legislation. By 2020 there will be approximately 25 million passenger cars and 7 million light-duty vehicles on the European roads which will need to be filled up with AdBlue®. This increase of AdBlue® consumption has pushed the market to fill up these vehicles through bulk installations instead of bottles or canisters. Blue1 has developed its complete AdBlue® product range for these type of vehicles in a wide range of volumes and features to meet 100% its customers’ expectations due to this evolution. All systems are adapted in accordance to the ideal flow rates of every type of dispenser and can also be foreseen with an ATEX approved telemetry system for monitoring all volumes through M2M technology.
