The station was rebranded as part of the refurbishing process; ADNOC changed the external and internal design to fit the company’s profile. In addition to eight fuel dispensers, the service station now includes conveniences such as ADNOC Oasis, a bakery, and fast food outlets.

“We are glad to officially open Al Dar service station, which is the first to become operational as part of the transfer of assets agreement signed with ENOC last year in accordance with our wise leadership's vision and direction to fulfil customer needs wherever they are in the UAE,” said Abdulla Salem Al Dhaheri, CEO of ADNOC Distribution.

The reopening of the Al Dar station is part of ADNOC’s expansion in the UAE’s petroleum retailing market. After the acquisition of Emarat and the asset transfer deal with ENOC, the company now holds 386 service stations across the UAE territory.

ADNOC are involved in a pioneering project to introduce natural gas as an alternative fuel for vehicles in the United Arab Emirates. Most of their service stations are equipped with the latest technology, and offer a wide range of services.
