Woqod´s CEO Ibrahim Jaham al-Kuwari discussed the plans for more mobile fuel stations in the Doha area at the company´s annual general meeting last Wednesday.

“There are currently six operational mobile petrol stations and we will soon add 20 more. In addition to that, we are ordering around 30 mobile petrol stations, which we expect to receive in the next three months. They would be on standby and can be deployed as the need arises,” al-Kuwari told Gulf Times.

Motorist complain about the lack of gas stations in and around the city of Doha. During the last few years a number of fuel stations have shut down, including two in the last month.

From June 6, Woqod will also be installing longer hoses at the pumps to improve the convenience of its services.
