English Español Spain: Galp installs Coca-Cola ‘superchargers’ in 100 gas stations

Spanish fuel retailer Galp has partnered with Coca-Cola to install ‘Superchargers’ for electronic devices in 100 service stations.

Last update:

Inside the food and convenience area of 100 Galp service stations motorists will be able to charge their mobile phones or other devices free of charge.

The ‘Superchargers’, which have the shape of a large Coca-Cola bottle, include two fast-charge cables: one for iPhones/iPads and another for the rest of smartphones/tablets.

The fuel retailer´s goal is that “no client of Galp runs out of energy while making a trip,” says Joaquín Salas, Manager of Convenience Stores at Galp Spain. “This is another step in our client-first focus, offering rapid answers to their necessities. With Coca-Cola´s Superchargers the visit of our service stations will become a more positive and satisfactory experience.”

Aside from the new fast-charge devices, the two companies have commercial agreements with promotions of Coca-Cola drinks in the whole Galp fuelling network.
