ExxonMobil Nigeria appoint Paul McGrath as new MD

Paul McGrath to lead Mobil Producing Nigeria Unlimited, the Nigerian subsidiary of oil giant ExxonMobil.

Mobil Producing Nigeria Unlimited announced the appointment of Paul McGrath as the new Chairman and Managing Director effective March 1, 2017.

McGrath has been given this role after Nolan O´Neal, Mobil Nigeria´s current Chairman and Managing Director, chose to retire from the company after 34 years of service, reports Financial Nigeria.

ExxonMobil has two main subsidiaries in Nigeria: Mobil Oil Producing and Esso Exploration and Production Nigeria.

McGrath joined U.S.-based ExxonMobil in 1999 and has held various positions throughout his career in the company. Prior to the appointment, he was a senior executive in charge of project execution.
