Fuel tank firm wins gov't funds to develop new products

Les Industries Desjardins, a small-and-medium enterprise that specializes in the design, manufacture, and sale of fuel storage tanks and industrial equipment, has received financial assistance worth $397,750 from Canada Economic Development (CED) for Quebec Regions, according to a news release.

The financial support will be used to boost productivity and develop new and innovative products.

"The support from CED is helping our business to grow by providing access to capital on favourable terms. Our mission is to be a leader in the manufacture of tanks in Canada and to provide quality jobs in our region,” said Denis Montminy, President, Les Industries Desjardins ltée.
