Assopetroli-Assoenergia is the nationwide organization for wholesalers of petroleum products. It was founded in 1949.

Assopetroli-Assoenergia is committed to the following sectorial activities:

  • Trade of petroleum products and derivates for the industry, agriculture, marine, aviation and road transport
  • Services for tenergy efficiency of air conditioning systems
  • Oil logistics, management of storage depots and fleets for distribution.

75% of the members meet the requirements of the national market for the distribution of oil and energy products. They own 50% of all fuel service stations located on Italian roads, with about 12,000 POS. The distribution model adopted is exemplary for the rest of the European Union.
