The Inaugural Guyana International Petroleum Business Summit & Exhibition (GIPEX 2018) is a Convention coming up in partnership with the Ministry of Natural Resources, Guyana to be hosted by the Minister of Natural Resources on 7-9 February 2018 at The Marriott Hotel, in Georgetown, Guyana. 

The Inaugural Guyana International Petroleum Business Summit & Exhibition (GIPEX 2018) is being prepared with the support of relevant Government Organizations, Associations, Industry Experts, National and International Oil Companies and various other stakeholders in order to establish a strategic dialogue. GIPEX 2018 will explore the huge untapped potential of this historic country. The event will continue to establish a dynamic relationship between the Ministry of Natural Resources, Guyana & the Private sector with full Co-Operation from other Government Departments working to make Guyana a favorable & Pro Business Destination, a prerequisite for boosting economic activities and achieving development objectives. 

GIPEX 2018 is expected to be attended by companies from a range of countries so that new partnerships can be created, new ideas can be forged, best practice experience can be shared, and business can ultimately be done all under one roof and across three very exciting days. 

GIPEX 2018 is a Global Initiative which will provide an excellent networking platform for Existing Petroleum and Gas companies, Service Providers, Equipment Companies and Investors through which interested parties will be informed about opportunities and developments in this sector and industries. 

Incorporating exhibition space alongside a comprehensive conference agenda, the show is the perfect platform for global petroleum and gas companies to showcase their latest products, services and technologies to an international audience of industry professionals. 

This is expected to be a large scale conference & exhibition event which will bring together senior level decision and policy makers from the global Petroleum and Gas Industry and will focus on trade and investment opportunities in Guyana. It provides a platform for researchers/scientists and academic people to share and globalize their research work while the participants from industry can promote their products thus felicitating dissemination of knowledge. We anticipate more than 300 participants & 75 Exhibitors from around the globe with thought provoking keynote lectures, oral and poster presentations.
