Glenn M. Plumby named Marathon Petroleum Corporate officer

Speedway’s COO has been appointed as officer to parent company Marathon Petroleum.

Glenn M. Plumby, senior vice president and chief operating officer for Speedway LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Marathon Petroleum Corporation, has been appointed an MPC officer.

From 2010 through 2017, Plumby held operations posts as both a vice president and a senior vice president at Speedway. He was appointed senior vice president and chief operating officer of the company in 2018.

Plumby is a member of the board of directors of the National Association of Convenience Stores and serves as a member of the organization's Research Council.

MPC operates the US’ largest refining system with more than 3 million barrels per day of crude oil capacity across 16 refineries.
