Tanknology releases latest generation of its SureTest UST Testing System

Tanknology of Austin, TX, the world’s largest provider of environmental compliance solutions for UST operators, is launching the latest generation of its SureTest Volumetric Underground Storage Tank Tightness Testing system. Among the substantial new benefits of the latest generation SureTest system is a new, easy-to-navigate PC software program that provides maximum flexibility to the operator. Tanknology’s SureTest system is a worldwide industry leader. It includes a microprocessor-based robotic probe that is programmed via a laptop computer to automatically run tank tests at any specified time. SureTest probes can be programmed in advance and quickly installed into tanks, left there to run a tank test at a time that causes the least disruption to site operations. The test runs in as few as three hours and the technician comes back at a later time to remove the probe and download the data into the SureTest software. The data is quickly validated and then securely transmitted via an Internet connection to Tanknology’s world headquarters, where it is analyzed and a test report is generated within 24 hours.

The secure design of the system ensures the absolute integrity of the test results. Test reports are permanently stored in Tanknology’s secure data base and accessible 24/7 to site operators or owners via an Internet connection.According to Ignacio Allende, Tanknology’s Director of International Operations, the SureTest system is used around the world, by Tanknology’s international network of independent licensees.
