English Español Mexico: First ARCO station opens in Ciudad Juárez

Marathon Petroleum has opened the first of a series of ARCO stations in Ciudad Juárez in the state of Chihuahua.

Last update:

Through its subsidiary and its local and its local distributor Almacenes Distribuidores de la Frontera, which owns the Petrol gas station network as well as the convenience stores DelRio and Superette, Marathon Petroleum has opened the first ARCO site in Ciudad Juárez.

Petrol currently has 13 stations in operation and with more than 15 years of experience in the market.

Marathon Petroleum intends to grow the ARCO brand through supply contracts with independent owners and operators of existing and new gas stations that are interested in marketing under the brand.

All ARCO fuelling stations in Mexico offer consumers TOP TIER gasoline. The Chihuahua area stations receive fuel that is trucked directly from Marathon Petroleum’s refinery in El Paso, Texas.

There are some 125 stations throughout Baja California, Baja Sur, Sonora, Sinaloa and Chihuahua currently operating under the ARCO brand.
