Last update:

Petrotrade, a petroleum company owned by state of Zimbabwe, is planning to build eight new service stations over the next two years.

The local player wants to grow its footprint across the country and increase its market share by opening four sites a yer, reports The Herald.

“We have four sites that are ongoing at the moment which are at different stages of completion we have got one site in Mabvuku, Warren Park, Bindura and Masvingo. The one in Mabvuku is about 80% complete but the others are between 45 and 30% completion,” said Godfrey Ncube, chief executive officer.

The move comes as the company is in the process of securing a strategic partner that will help grow the company's local footprint

Last week the company transitioned from ISO 9001:2008 to the more advanced ISO 9001:2015 quality management system (QMS).
