English Español UTA fuel cards will be accepted across Carrefour’s 1,200 service stations in France

The European fuel card network already gives access to nearly 50,000 stations across Europe.

Last update:

Leading provider of fuel cards UTA has signed a deal to have its fuel cards accepted at all Carrefour service stations in France.

More than 500 Carrefour stations are already technically equipped to accept UTA cards. The cards can be used in automatic fuel dispensers for a 24-hour supply.

Due to this new partnership with Carrefour, UTA fuel cards now provide access to the largest network of low-cost service stations in France with more than 1,750 stations.

"This new partnership is in line with our desire to facilitate the mobility of our customers everywhere in France and Europe. Faced with the increase in fuel prices in France in 2018, our customers will benefit from a wide choice of low-cost stations and a dense network of stations on the territory," explained Christian Wittmer, Director of UTA France.

UTA cards provide access to a multi-brand network of nearly 50,000 service stations in 37 European countries. UTA is a subsidiary of Edenred.
