Puma Energy announced the appointment of Alan McGown as Chief Transformation Officer. Alan McGown will lead the work to implement the strategy that has been developed by Puma Energy to access the opportunity to create value from its existing businesses and to position the company for future sustainable growth.

“I am really pleased that Alan McGown is joining Puma Energy to help us realise the exciting future that I see for the company. Alan’s experience and track record are ideally suited to help us implement a sustainable, customer-focused growth strategy", said CEO of Puma Energy, Emma FitzGerald.

Alan McGown will join Puma Energy on 1st July and will join the Executive Committee and report to CEO Emma FitzGerald.

Alan joins Puma Energy from Nayara Energy in India (formerly Essar Oil), where he has been Chief Marketing Officer.

Prior to Nayara, Alan was the director of retail strategy for the downstream business at Rosneft in Russia and before that he had a long career at BP. Amongst his many roles at BP, he has been VP of business development and marketing for BP retail in China, global fuels strategy manager and general manager of retail in Poland.
