Last update:

MAES Energy & Mobility announces the strategic cooperation with Belgian Shell NV, including the rebranding of 56 stations to the Shell brand. As a result, MAES will become the largest Shell dealer in Belgium and Shell will have more than 270 service stations in Belgium.

From 1 June 2019 the first stations will be rebranded in the Shell house style. By the end of December this year, all new sites will be transformed into unmanned Shell Express stations.

With the expansion of 56 stations, the Shell network now has more than 270 sites. In addition to the standard payment cards, you can also refuel with the Shell Card, with NFC and with the fuel card and Mobility Card from MAES.

“The combination of the well-known Shell brand with our local customer-oriented approach reinforces our presence in Belgium,” says Dirk Maes, Managing Director of MAES.

Shell has the ambition to continue to strengthen its presence on the Belgian market.

MAES, a family business founded in 1965, is an expert in the field of energy and mobility with three core activities with a network of 270 stations, a MAES fuel card and MAES Mobility Card and direct deliveries of fuels and lubricants to private individuals and companies.
