Puma Energy, the globally integrated midstream and downstream energy company, has appointed Rhibetnan Yaktal as Global Head of Compliance, reporting directly into the CEO, Emma FitzGerald. Based in Geneva, Switzerland, Rhibetnan will lead Puma Energy’s global capabilities around risk control and management.

Rhibetnan joins Puma Energy from Dover Fueling Solutions where she was Global Director of Compliance. Previously she was Group Compliance and Ethics Manager at Petrofac and a compliance leader at GE Oil and Gas.

Starting immediately, Rhibetnan will be drawing upon her longstanding experience of developing and implementing global compliance programmes, to ensure Puma Energy’s reputation is looked after at all times. Collaborating closely with the audit and legal teams to achieve this goal, they will continually assess and mitigate compliance and enterprise risks for the business.

“I’m excited to be joining a business that shares my passion for working in a clear and transparent manner and adhering to the highest possible standards at all times, across multiple markets. I look forward to collaborating with a number of expert teams to ensure we protect and enhance Puma Energy’s reputation 365 days of the year”, commented Rhibetnan on her appointment.

“We operate in five continents and almost 50 countries, and we place a great deal of importance on an open and transparent approach to doing business in each of these markets. It is also critical that we have appropriate controls to ensure that we can reassure ourselves and all our stakeholders that we are maintaining the highest standards. Rhibetnan will work hand in hand with Legal and Audit to do this, and we’re confident they’ll enjoy a successful partnership”, said Puma Energy Ceo, Emma FitzGerald.
