The Government of Argentina will soon approve the legislation that will allow gas stations to offer self-service in refueling. The news were confirmed during the meeting of Argentine operators at the headquarters of Entidades del Comercio de Hidrocarburos y Afines de la República Argentina (CECHA), who analyzed the current situation of the fuel retail sector in the country, reported surtidores.com.ar.

"The relevant data is that the law will provide that the unnamed system will not be exclusive, but must be shared with an employee at the site in the same percentage," explained the President of the Chamber of Retailers of Cordoba, Gabriel Bornoroni. "Its implementation will be voluntary," added the president.

The measure aims to provide fuel at a more affordable price and save time in refueling. Oil companies are now developing a guide for customers, who are historically used to being assisted by an employee.
