Gazprom launched two automobile gas-fueling compressor stations (CNG) in the Udmurt Republic, Russia. Both stations have a capacity to produce 6.7 million cubic meters of natural gas per year, the throughput capacity of each is 400 units of equipment a day.

The new sites will provide refueling for municipal enterprises, commercial fleets, freight and municipal vehicles.

“We see a good demand for natural gas as a motor fuel from consumers of the Udmurt Republic. If in 2013, 678 thousand cubic meters were sold through the Gazprom gas network in the region, then at the end of 2018, this figure is 7 times higher. The existing production facilities of the company make it possible to expand the regional fleet of natural gas vehicles,” Oleg Melekhin, Director General of Gazprom Gazomotornoye Toplivo.
