Gulf continues Argentina expansion with Santa Fe opening
The international brand has landed its second site in Argentina with plans for more stations in 2019.
After inaugurating its first service station in the City of Buenos Aires, the brand of fuels and lubricants Gulf opened its first station in the province of Santa Fe, located in Roldán.
Alejandro Valderrey, operator of the station, stated that "the possibility of branding the station with Gulf with its new design generates very good expectations in terms of growth. I have known Gulf for a long time because of its track record in racing and its lubricants. Although we had several proposals, Gulf is the one we chose. We like it as a brand and they showed us the capacity of integral work that they have".
Gulf plans to flag several more stations in the province that will be unveiled as its expansion plan advances.
As part of its plan in Argentina, Gulf plans to reach as many provinces as possible with its service stations. After Roldán, the next opening is scheduled in Monte Grande, Buenos Aires, and then in the city of Córdoba Capital.
With 116 years of history, presence in more than 100 countries and 4,000 retail outlets, Gulf aims to flag 50 stations in Argentina during 2019 and reach 150 outlets in the next two years.
