English Español Romania: Rompetrol Partner opens site in Cugir

The Cugir Partner Station is the 21st station opened by the Rompetrol franchise in the last three years.

Rompetrol Downstream, the retail division of the KMG International Group in Romania, recently opened a new fuel station under the Rompetrol Partner franchise in the city of Cugir, in Alba county.

The company Trans Ivinis, with which Rompetrol has a parternship since 2005, made an investment of about 1 million euro for its construction, according to Rompetrol press release. Trans Ivinis owns a chain of petrol stations in urban and rural areas in Alba county.

Rompetrol Downstream operated 950 fuel points by the end of August 2019, 70 more than a year earlier. It also operates six fuel deposits in Arad, Craiova, Mogosoaia, Simleul Silvaniei, Vatra Dornei and Zarnesti, in addition to three bottling stations for liquefied petroleum gas in Bacau, Arad and Pantelimon.
