Interview with Lise-Lotte Nordholm on her new role as President of CECOD

The new President discusses the goals and targets of the Committee of European Manufacturers of Petroleum Measuring and Distributing Equipment.

PetrolPlaza spoke to Lise-Lotte Nordholm at the NACS Show and PEI Convention 2019 to discuss her new role as President of CECOD -  the Committee of European Manufacturers of Petroleum Measuring and Distributing Equipment.

Based in Malmo, Sweden, Nordholm is Vice President, Dispenser Business Unit at Dover Fueling Solutions and has been in involved in the fuelling industry for over a decade.

CECOD is a non-profit association providing facilities for its members to share technical information related to fuel measuring and dispensing technologies and processes.

“We look to unify standards, legal metrology and environmental standards across European states,” says Nordholm on the goals of the association. “We constantly see new regulations come in. We are going to see a lot around environmental standards. It is about helping our members be ready for that.”

One of the main activities of the association is to drive the industry forward with correct legislation. They are actively involved in influencing and writing standards/guides in the fields of measuring instruments, explosion safety, machinery safety, and vapour recovery.
