English Español Spain: Cepsa and Tim Hortons to launch first site in new pilot project

Spanish fuel retailer Cepsa and restaurant chain Tim Hortons will join forces to develop a new pilot project in Spain.

Last update:

Following the partnership developed by Repsol and Starbucks, the second biggest chain of gas stations in Spain, Cepsa, has decided to up its convenience game. The retailer is preparing a partnership with Tim Hortons  to include coffee shops at its sites.

The first coffee shop part of this project will open in the Cepsa station in Campo de las Naciones in Madrid. The doors of the new Tim Hortons will be open by the end of the month, reports El Español.

With over 1,700 stations in Spain and Portugal, Cepsa has room for expansion if both companies are willing to bring the partnership forward.
